The Schwinn Avion is a budget-priced skate-style/urban helmet that earns top marks for ease of use and scores near the top of our ratings for impact absorption. Designed for electric bike speeds up to 28 mph, it offers extended coverage to protect a larger portion of the head during higher-speed riding. The helmet features a lightweight shell bonded to a protective core, a full-dial fit system, an integrated visor, and removable, washable 360-degree interior padding. Adjustable side and chin straps allow for a customized fit, though they are not as easy to adjust as those on some competing models. The Avion comes with a one-year warranty but does not include rotational impact protection technology.
