CR's Take

The Schwinn Axum is a budget-priced adult mountain bike helmet that earns top scores for impact absorption and ease of use. It has a single-size shell with a dial-fit adjustment system, a detachable visor, and dual certification for both bicycling and skateboarding. Large vents contribute to strong ventilation performance, and the removable, washable 360-degree padding system adds comfort and convenience. The helmet fits head circumferences from 58 to 61 cm and comes with a one-year warranty. It does not include a damage replacement program or rotational impact protection technology.
