Amazon Prime Day is here, and as usual, retailers such as Best Buy and Walmart are joining in to compete with their own sales. The result is a wide selection of deals on tech gear, from laptops to smartwatches to home security cameras.
This year, we’re seeing some more deals on TVs than for previous Prime Days. There are also lots of really good bargains on headphones and other audio gear, plus significant discounts on printers—and lots of other goodies, too.
Below, we’ve picked out the best deals on technology products that do well in CR’s lab testing. To find more deals on a wide range of products—everything from cookware to lawnmowers and mattresses—check out our Deals hub.
Headphones
If you’re in the market for a premium noise-canceling headphone that feels a little, well, unique, there’s a lot to like about this Dyson On-Trac model. Yes, it’s made by the vacuum cleaner company, but Dyson dismisses the doubters with over-the-ear phones with superb sound. Like many Dyson products, this one sports elegant, upscale styling and a festive use of color. Better yet, the headphones are now back down to the best price we’ve seen.
The AirPods Pro 3 are Apple’s top-of-the-line earbuds, and they’re jam-packed with features. The newest functions include live translation for overseas travel and a workout mode that allows you to leave your Apple Watch at home while you’re out on a run or ride. The buds still offer a clinical-grade hearing test and the option of turning your Pro 3s into an over-the-counter hearing aid. They also sound good and offer a better fit and noise canceling than last year’s Pro 2s. The Pro 3s don’t go on sale very often, so this is an opportunity to get Apple’s latest tech at an enticing price.
No, the Beats Studio Buds + don’t carry the Apple name, but they’re close relatives. Apple owns Beats by Dre, and you can buy these true wireless earbuds at the Apple Store. Like AirPods, they’re sleek and stylish, and work seamlessly with an iPhone or another Apple device. So if you don’t want or need the hearing-test or hearing-aid features of the AirPods Pro, the Studio Buds + offer satisfying sound and impressive noise-canceling performance at a lower price.
There’s a lot to like about the Bose QuietComfort, over-the-ear, noise-canceling headphone. It sits second in Bose’s lineup but performs a lot like the top-of-the-line QuietComfort Ultra. The model provides sound quality that’s pleasant if not quite up to the very best headphones in this category, but the noise cancellation, as is typical of Bose, is truly superb. Since Bose devices don’t routinely receive big discounts, this deal is well worth a look.

Smartwatches & Fitness Trackers
Those motivated to get more movement this summer can now snag the Apple Watch SE 3 at a discount. We think it’s the most capable version yet of Apple’s budget smartwatch. It offers nearly all the health, fitness, and safety features of the pricier flagship model, from sleep apnea alerts to fall detection. And you can count on impressive battery life and a bright, durable display, too. This model offers cellular connectivity (once you sign up for service), allowing you to answer calls and texts even when your phone isn’t nearby.
If you want a sleek, do-everything smartwatch that pairs seamlessly with your iPhone, the Apple Watch Series 11 is a great pick. It can do all the basics well, like tracking your sleep, workouts, steps, heart rate, and more. It also offers a few health features that the budget SE 3 doesn’t, such as hypertension monitoring, electrocardiogram readings to detect an irregular heart rhythm, and a blood-oxygen sensor.
The Galaxy Watch8 is a solid all-around pick for anyone who owns a Galaxy phone. It features a bright 1.3-inch AMOLED display and offers Samsung’s latest health, fitness, and safety features, from swimming stroke analysis to daily sleep and energy scores. The battery life is in line with most high-end smartwatches, so expect daily charging.
The rugged-looking (and high-performing) Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra LTE smartwatch is aimed at outdoors enthusiasts—and anyone who wants the absolute best of Samsung’s health- and fitness-tracking features. You get basics like sleep, workout, and heart-rate tracking, as well as more advanced features that give you insights into stress load and metabolic health. Note that Galaxy Watches work only with Android devices.
If what you want is a slim, reliable fitness tracker that keeps tabs on the basics—like your sleep, step count, and heart rate—the Fitbit Inspire 3 is a good buy at this price. It also has a convenient 10-day claimed battery life.
The Versa 4 is a great fit for Fitbit fans who want a sleeker-looking smartwatch. You get a good-sized display and all the basics from GPS-enabled workout tracking to heart rate monitoring, plus a generous six days of claimed battery life.
TVs
The 65-inch LG OLED65C5PUA, a 2025 set, is a top-notch TV, offering and excellent balance of price and performance. Like other LG TVs, this set supports Dolby Vision HDR, but not HDR10+. In addition to compelling picture quality, it has above-average sound.
The Samsung QN65S90F is one of CR’s top-rated sets, among the best TVs you can buy, especially at this price. It’s a 65-inch midlevel 2025 OLED TV that uses a QD-OLED panel. It delivers a compelling HDR experience, with support for HDR10+ but not Dolby Vision.
Part of Samsung’s step-up lifestyle series dubbed The Frame, the Samsung QN65LS03FW offers a nice balance of design and performance. It’s a Neo QLED TV, meaning it has both quantum dots for a wider range of colors and a Mini LED backlight that can boost contrast and black levels. When you’re not watching TV, its Gallery mode can display artwork and photos. Connections are made via a wireless One Connect box.
Vizio is a brand now owned by Walmart. The Vizio VQD65R-10 is a 65-inch QLED TV that performs well overall in our picture-quality tests, but not as well in HDR performance. It’s a smart TV running the Vizio OS platform, formerly known as SmartCast. It has WiFi 6 internet and features the company’s QuickFit mounting system, which allows you to easily attach a Vizio soundbar directly to the TV with no gap. It’s at a fairly low price for a 4K TV this size.
Hisense 65UR8
The Hisense 65UR8 is one of the new “RGB Mini LED TVs,” which use red, green, and blue LEDs in the backlight to provide a very wide range of colors. We didn’t test this set, but we did test the flagship UR9 models in both 65- and 75-inch screen sizes, and both performed well overall, with exceptional HDR performance. (Hisense TVs support both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR formats.) This set uses the Google TV smart system, with Google Assistant.
Hisense 65U6SF
This set, a 2026 65-inch QLED Mini LED TV that uses the Amazon Fire TV smart system, is a Best Buy exclusive. We didn’t test this set, but we did test the Hisense 65U6HF, which did well for overall picture quality. The main difference is that the SF sets feature Mini LED backlights, which could improve contrast and black levels.
The 75-inch Hisense 75QD7QF is a lower midlevel Mini LED TV that performs well for overall picture quality, but its high dynamic range performance is limited. (It supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR formats.) It uses the Amazon Fire TV smart platform with Alexa built in.
The Roku 75R6C7 is a 75-inch model in the company’s step-up Plus series, which are QLED TVs with Mini LED backlights, sandwiched between Roku’s top-tier Pro sets and its entry-level Select models. Like many other models in this price range, this set delivers satisfying picture quality but a less-than-compelling HDR performance. It supports Dolby Vision HDR, and Dolby Atmos sound.
The TCL 65QM6K is an entry-level QLED TV that features a Mini LED backlight. It’s a decent overall performer, with satisfying picture quality but unexciting HDR performance. (The TV supports both Dolby Vision and HDR10+.) It uses the Google TV smart platform, with Google Assistant built in.

Speakers
Edifier speakers have traditionally fared really well in our lab tests and the Edifier M90s are no exception. The powered bluetooth desktop speakers come in a pair connected by a power cable. No, they don’t sound quite as spectacular as the classic S1000W and S1000MkII, but they’re darn close. They’re also significantly smaller, which makes them easier to place on a desk or a small bookshelf.
Portable wireless speakers often take a beating, rattling around in the bottom of a backpack or getting knocked off a picnic table—all of which argues for a modestly priced speaker like the JBL Flip 7. The model boasts decent bass, adequate volume, and satisfying sound quality. The 12-hour battery life claimed by JBL is long enough for even your epic 81-song Abba to ZZ Top playlist. And with an IPX7 rating, the Flip 7 is not only splashproof and spillproof but also totally dunkable, according to the manufacturer. One other cool feature: If you buy the Flip 7 from JBL, you can have it personalized, choosing the color and printing your own image or text on the grill.
The Sonos Five sounds great, but just as important, it plays well with other Sonos-compatible speakers. That means you can control the tracks and the volume from your smartphone app, so you can play Lorde in the family room, hear NPR in the kitchen, and pipe Al Green into the bedroom, all with the touch of a finger. Note, however, that like many older Sonos models, the Sonos Five is WiFi only, so no Bluetooth streaming. And if you’re willing to spend more than $1,000 to pair two Sonos Fives in stereo, the sound quality jumps up a notch.
The Sony ULT Field 1 is an amenable companion for a trip to the pool or the beach. It’s pleasant sounding with a strong impactful bass ideal for summer tunes. It doesn’t play super loud, but that’s largely a function of its modest size. It boasts an IP 67 rating, which means it’s well sealed from sand and dirt, and can take a modest dunking.
Soundbars
The Sony HT-A8000, also called the Bravia Theater Bar 8, is a premium all-in-one 5.0.2 Dolby Atmos/DTS:X soundbar that delivers very enjoyable overall sound. It features 11 drivers, including four front-facing woofers and three tweeters, plus a pair of side-firing midrange drivers and two upfiring drivers for height sounds and effects. You can add optional wireless rear speakers and a separate wireless subwoofer to create a true surround-sound setup.
The Samsung HW-QS700F is a 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos model with commendable overall sound, so it’s a good choice for both movies and music. It has upfiring drivers for Atmos sound, and a separate wireless subwoofer. It can be positioned flush against the wall or flat on a table, with a built-in gyro that will automatically reorient the speaker’s sound. It has Samsung’s Q-Symphony feature, which lets you use both the TV speakers and soundbar simultaneously.
The Polk Audio MagniFi Max AX is a full-featured 5.1.2-channel model, which has decent overall sound, includes both a dedicated center channel and upfiring drivers in the main enclosure for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive sound. You can add rear speakers via an optional Polk rear satellite speaker kit. The model comes with a wireless subwoofer, three HDMI inputs so you can switch devices, and support for both Bluetooth and WiFi
The Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is an all-in-one 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos model that delivers decent overall sound. It’s the company’s flagship model; although it has built-in subwoofers, it lacks an outboard one to increase bass response. It does have two upfiring drivers for Dolby Atmos height effects. It has the Amazon Alexa voice assistant built in. It comes with a headband with microphones that work with Bose’s AdaptiQ calibration feature, or you can use the soundbar’s mics.
The Samsung HW-Q800F a 2025 model, is a 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos/DTS:X soundbar that delivers satisfying sound for less money than its replacement, the Samsung HW-Q800H. It features upfiring drivers that create a sense of height with Dolby Atmos audio. You can also add optional rear satellite speakers to create a true surround-sound system. You can connect the soundbar to your TV via HDMI or digital optical audio, and it features the company’s Q-Symphony technology, which allows it to work with a Samsung TV’s speakers.
The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar Plus is a 3.1-channel system with an integrated subwoofer; it lacks an outboard subwoofer, though another version that has one is available for a bit more money. It supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio, but it lacks upfiring drivers to deliver the sense of height. Despite its name, the soundbar doesn’t include built-in Fire TV streaming capability. It includes a dialogue enhancement feature and a dynamic range compression mode for listening at night. When connected to an Amazon Fire TV television, additional features, such as an onscreen menu and Fire TV remote integration, are supported.
Laptops & Chromebooks
The Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is a premium 2-in-1 with a 360-degree hinge that lets you rotate the screen for use as a traditional laptop or a tablet, knocking out a report at your desk or sketching notes on the couch. The bundled stylus is handy for handwriting and drawing. Thin, light, and built to last a full workday away from an outlet, this is the sort of machine that earns its keep if you’re frequently on the move or travel for work. It sits at the higher end of our laptop ratings, so you’re paying for the flexibility and the display quality.
Printers
If you’re looking to invest in an all-in-one printer capable of serving a small office, this Canon ImageCLASS MF287dw laser model is a smart choice. It prints top-notch text, and quickly. It has an integrated scanner, copier, and fax machine, plus automatic two-sided printing. It doesn’t excel at printing graphics, but that’s to be expected with a black-and-white laser. The good news is, along with these upfront savings, you’ll also spend relatively little over time on toner as laser printers have significantly lower operational costs than inkjets.
This Brother inkjet tank printer is a solid pick if you want a do-everything model with an integrated scanner, copier, and fax machine. Tank-style inkjets are far more economical in the long run than printers that use cartridges. (You spend just a few dollars on replacement ink each year.) This model produces crisp text and photos. It spits the text out at a clip, too. And it offers convenient two-sided printing and an auto-feeder for easier scanning and copying. Plus, the compact size makes the printer a nice fit for a small home office.
Phones
If you’re a Samsung Galaxy lover due for an upgrade, you can nab a deal on the new Samsung Galaxy 26. (The Galaxy S26 Ultra is also on sale, if you want a larger, more premium model.) Expect a vibrant display and first-rate camera system, our testers say.
This is a substantial discount on Samsung’s premium foldable phone. Think of the dual-screen Galaxy Z Fold7 as part smartphone, part tablet, which might be handy if you want to use your phone for, say, both texting and editing spreadsheets for work. It’s a bit heavier than most phones at 7.7 ounces, but it hinges open to reveal an impressive 8-inch display.
This deal is for a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, a smart way to save even more without sacrificing quality. This pint-sized, foldable phone easily stows in your pocket but flips open to reveal a high-quality 6.9-inch display. The cover screen, which remains visible even when the device is closed, shows notifications, dynamic widgets, and your personalized wallpaper. The camera quality and battery life are both impressive.
Tablets
Looking for a lightweight tablet to read on the beach or accompany you on summer travels? The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE has a crisp 11-inch display, plus a decent camera and reasonable battery life, too. It doesn’t offer quite the same power as the newer Galaxy Tab S11 (also on sale this week), but for everyday tasks, the Tab S10 FE will do just fine.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ offers the same strong performance and reliable battery life as the Tab S10 FE, but with a larger 13-inch screen. All the better for watching shows, playing games, or guiding you through your travels.
This 8-inch Amazon Fire tablet isn’t the highest-end option—its performance and display quality don’t match top-tier tablets from other brands—but if you’re looking for a reasonably priced option for streaming a show, reading an ebook, or browsing the web on something bigger than your phone, it’s a solid pick.
Smart Home
The Yale Assure Lock 2 is a keyless smart lock that connects to directly to WiFi (no hub needed), and you can control it remotely when you’re not home. With the included Yale WiFi Smart Module (an $80 value) it also supports Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings. This Yale smart lock is at the lowest price that we’ve ever seen.
The Arlo Video Doorbell 2K is versatile: You can run it using the rechargeable battery or hardwire it to a home’s doorbell wiring for continuous power. Features include geofencing and voice/app control via Amazon Alexa and Google Home/Assistant. Cloud video storage and additional features (such as alerts for people, packages, animals, and vehicles) require an Arlo Secure subscription. This doorbell is on sale at the lowest price we’ve ever seen, dropping below previous Prime Day sales.
The Blink Mini 2 is a small security camera that offers great video quality and speedy motion alerts. It can also work outdoors and store footage locally without a subscription, but each of those features requires you to buy an accessory. The former needs the Blink Weather Resistant Power Adapter, $10, while the latter needs the Blink Sync Module 2, $50, and a USB flash drive. Cloud video storage requires a Blink subscription plan. This camera is down to its lowest price we’ve ever seen.
The Blink Wired Floodlight Cam offers great daytime and nighttime video quality, quick response times, and robust data security. Its features include a siren, activity zones, voice/app control via Amazon Alexa, and up to 5 minutes of continuous live streaming. You can store footage locally without a subscription if you purchase a Blink Sync Module 2, $50, and plug in a USB flash drive. Cloud video storage and other features (such as person detection and AI descriptive alerts) require a Blink subscription plan.
The Rove R2-4K Pro dash cam offers great daytime video quality and is very easy to install. It features a 2.4-inch display for reviewing footage, a GPS antenna for capturing speed and location data, and both suction cup and adhesive mounts. A hardwiring kit is sold separately for $50; you’ll need it to enable the dash cam’s motion and vibration-based parking mode. The Rove R2-4K Pro supports microSD cards up to 512 gigabytes in size and has apps for Android, iPhone, Mac, and Windows. This Prime Day, the dash cam has hit a new all-time low sale price, about $5 less than its previous lowest sale price to date.
The sleek Honeywell Home T9 RCHT9510WF comes with a wireless remote temperature sensor for more precise heating and cooling throughout your home and offers a number of other features, including geofencing, a built-in occupancy sensor, a touchscreen, and vacation scheduling. Additional temperature sensors cost about $40 to $45 each and are available at Amazon, Best Buy, and Honeywell Home.
Meross MSG100HK Smart WiFi Garage Door Opener
The Meross MSG100 is one of the best smart garage door opener controllers from our at-home evaluation. It’s relatively easy to set up and install, and works with all of the major smart-home systems (Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings). It’s down to its usual sale price, last seen in late March.
TP-Link Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Plug Slim EP25 Four-Pack
The TP-Link Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Plug Slim EP25 is one of the most versatile smart plugs on the market, offering energy monitoring and compatibility with all four major smart home systems: Amazon Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings. It’s also easy to use and set up, and it offers decent data security. This four-pack is down to around its usual discounted price from prior sales.

WiFi Routers
The eero Pro 6E is a mesh system with two units that work together to blanket your home in WiFi. One plugs into your modem and the other goes wherever your signal tends to fade—an upstairs bedroom, a far corner—so you can roam from room to room without dropping a video call. Eero’s claim to fame is painless set up: the app walks you through the process and the units are small and unobtrusive enough to leave out in the open, which is exactly where mesh hardware performs best. The “6E” part means the model taps the newer 6GHz band, giving the latest phones and laptops a less congested lane. For a midsize home with dead spots, this is a clean upgrade.
This top-of-the-line TP-Link Deco mesh system is built to support WiFi 7, the new wireless standard aimed at households that genuinely push their networks to perform—think fast fiber plan, a pile of connected devices, or several people streaming and gaming at once. As with other mesh setups, the two units split the work of covering your home, and you manage things from a phone app. The caveat is that you’ll only feel the benefits of WiFi 7 if your phones, laptops, and other gear support it, too. But if you’re wiring up a busy, modern home and want headroom for years to come, this is about as much router as you can buy short of business-grade equipment.
This is a WiFi extender, not a router. The Netgear Nighthawk EXS27 is a smart solution for a single stubborn dead zone, like a back bedroom or an office over the garage that your router can’t quite reach. You plug it into an outlet roughly midway between your router and the weak spot, and it picks up the existing signal and rebroadcasts it. The catch is that an extended signal is usually slower than the one on your main network—often by about half—so it’s better suited to email, browsing, and video calls than to heavy 4K streaming. If your whole home has spotty coverage rather than one bad corner, a mesh router system is usually the better fix.
Streaming Players
The Amazon Fire TV Cube is on sale at a price we’ve seen during previous Amazon Prime Day sales. It’s Amazon’s top streamer, a mashup of an Amazon Echo and a 4K Fire TV streamer. Its universal remote-control capabilities let you control a host of other compatible A/V gear, including TVs, soundbars, receivers, and even some cable and satellite boxes. New features include HDMI 2.1 connections—one input and one output—for controlling other devices using your voice. (One cool trick is that the Cube will also upscale any content from a source connected to its HDMI input.) Other features include support for WiFi 6E, support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ HDR, and an Off button that disconnects the microphones if you don’t want the device in an always-listening mode.
The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select, which normally costs $40, supports 4K resolution. It also supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG, but it lacks Dolby Vision. Despite being the first device to run Amazon’s new Vega OS, the interface looks very similar to the traditional Fire TV OS. This is an entry-level device in the Fire TV line.
The new Google TV Streamer (4K) has a sleek look, a fast processor, support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos audio. It also gets twice as much memory (4GB) and four times the storage (32GB) as the Chromecast model it replaces. The player has a remote-find feature, and it leverages Google’s AI to make program recommendations. You’ll save about $5 off its usual selling price.
Styluses
Digiroot Fast-Charging Stylus
This Digiroot stylus is a low-cost option for taking notes or doodling on an iPad. It’s a bit challenging to control for detailed art, though. It offers palm rejection (allowing you to rest your arm on the device while working) and tilt support (recognizing the angle at which you’re holding the stylus), but no pressure sensitivity, so you can’t change the line weight based on how hard you press. The model charges via USB-C and doesn’t require pairing. Just turn it on and write away. And, unlike other third-party options, this one can magnetically attach to the side of an iPad.
