Best Buy Black Friday TV sales event, with men picking out their purchases.

If perusing Black Friday TV deals gets you excited about holiday shopping, then check out the Best Buy Black Friday ad—it's loaded with 4K and HD TVs. Some deals have already begun, and more will roll out between now and Black Friday.

Then, additional doorbuster deals will be revealed on Black Friday and Saturday, Nov. 24.

We reviewed the entire Best Buy Black Friday circular, which was posted by our friends at BestBlackFriday.com, to help you determine which deals are really special and which ones don't warrant your attention.

More on TVs & the Holidays

The majority of Thanksgiving Day ad items will be available for purchase online at Best Buy starting on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22.

Then, most Best Buy retail stores will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving and stay open until 1 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23. The stores will reopen at 8:00 a.m. and stay open until 10:00 p.m.

However, Best Buy stores in some states will not be open on Thanksgiving. Check the Best Buy Black Friday FAQ to get all the details.

And if you really want one of the doorbuster in-store deals, you'll have to get in line early.

Best Buy says tickets will be required for those items, with each store setting its own time for distributing tickets—contact your local store for details. Typically, tickets are distributed to those in line before the store opens, on a first-come, first-served basis. You'll need one ticket per doorbuster item, and Best Buy says it can't guarantee that all customers in line will receive a ticket.

Here's our analysis of the deals.

Big-Screen TVs

65-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $600
This set is the Samsung UN65NU6070, or Samsung UN65NU6060FXZA, a model we haven't tested. In general, Samsung TVs have done well in our ratings, and this looks like an entry-level 4K set. Because it normally sells for about $800, you're getting a $200 savings.

65-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $998
This is the Samsung UN65NU8000FXZA, a step-up model in Samsung’s mainstream NU-series models for 2018. The TV did well in  our ratings and is a good deal even at its usual retail price of $1,200 to $1,300.

65-Inch Sony 4K UHD Smart TV, $1,000
This model, the Sony XBR-65X850F, is one we've tested that usually sells for about $1,400. That makes this a great deal on a TV that can easily serve as the main set in your home. We saw it for the same price at the Dell Black Friday sale, which kicks off Nov. 16.

65-Inch Sony 4K UHD Smart TV, $1,600
Another Sony model that did well in our ratings, the Sony XBR-65X900F is a step-up model that usually sells for about $1,800, so this is a $200 break on a great set.

65-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $1,298
Samsung's top models are its QLED-series sets, and this TV, the Samsung QN65Q6FNAFXZA, is an entry-level model in that top series. It had been selling for a few hundred dollars more, but you can buy it right now at this price at Crutchfield and a few other retailers.

65-Inch 4K UHD OLED Smart TV, $2,600
This set, the LG OLED65C8PUA, is one of the best TVs we tested this year. It usually sells for about $200 more. We saw a very similar model, the LG OLED65C8AUA, at Costco's Black Friday sale for $2,700.

70-Inch LG 4K UHD Smart TV, $700
This set, listed as the LG 70UK6190, usually sells for about $1,000, so you're getting a nice savings. We think it's the same as the LG 70UK6190PUB. We didn't test that set, which we presume is an entry-level 4K set, but LG TVs typically do well in our ratings.

75-Inch LG 4K UHD Smart TV, $1,000
This jumbo-sized set is the LG 75UK6190PUB, the larger version of the set mentioned above. This set is at Best Buy right now for $1,500, so you're getting a nice $500 savings. It was also part of the Sam's Club early sale, but a price wasn't listed.

75-Inch Sony 4K UHD Smart TV, $1,800
This model, the Sony XBR-75X850F, is the bigger brother to the 65-inch set already mentioned. It's selling for about $2,300 at Best Buy and P.C. Richard & Son right now.

75-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $1,198
This big-screen set, the Samsung UN75NU6900FXZA, is a midtier model in Samsung’s 2018 collection of mainstream 4K sets. You can buy it right now for about $1,500 at several retailers. And we've seen smaller-sized versions of this model at Black Friday sales from Target and Dell.

75-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $1,598
The bigger size of the NU8000-series sets we’ve already mentioned, this is the Samsung UN75NU8000FXZA. It's selling for about $1,800 right now at P.C. Richard & Son and on Samsung's website.

82-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $2,498
The biggest of the NU8000-series sets we’ve already mentioned, the Samsung UN82NU8000FXZA is currently selling for about $2,800, but you can get the warehouse club version—the Samsung UN82NU800D—for $2,480 at the BJ's Black Friday sale.

Midsized Models

49-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $598
Another model in Samsung's NU8000 series, this is the Samsung UN49NU8000FXZA, a tested set that did very well in all picture-quality evaluations, including HDR performance—that's impressive for a television in this price range. It's selling for about $650 at a few places. That means you're not getting a huge savings, but this is a worthwhile set.

50-Inch Insignia 4K UHD Fire TV Edition Smart TV, $280
The Insignia NS-50DF710NA19 belongs to Best Buy’s house brand. This set, along with a Toshiba model we're also covering as part of this sale, is one of the new TVs that uses the Amazon Fire TV smart platform, which is compatible with Amazon's Alexa digital assistant. This set is available now at this price.

50-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $328
This is the Samsung UN50NU6900FXZA, another model in the company's entry-level series. And this isn't a real discount; the set is selling at this price everywhere right now.

55-Inch Sharp 4K UHD Smart TV, $250
This will be one of Best Buy's Black Friday-only specials. It's the Sharp LC-55LBU591U, a tested model that did decently in our ratings. This set normally sells for about $430, so this will be a great deal.

55-Inch Toshiba 4K UHD Fire TV Edition Smart TV, $350
You can get this deal, on the Toshiba 55LF621U19, right now. This is another Amazon Fire TV Edition set that we tested, and it did fairly well, though it doesn't offer top-notch HDR performance.

55-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $748
Like other NU8000-series sets, the Samsung UN55NU8000FXZA is a step-up model in Samsung's mainstream 4K lineup. That's about $100 less than its current price at Best Buy and elsewhere. It's a tested set that did well in our ratings.

55-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $998
This is a 55-inch model in Samsung’s entry-level QLED series. We tested the Samsung QN55Q6FNAFXZA, which did well in our ratings. But it's not a great deal, because you can buy this TV right now for just under $1,000 at several retailers, including B&H Photo Video and P.C. Richard & Son.

55-Inch LG 4K UHD OLED Smart TV, $1,700
Like its bigger sibling, this 4K OLED TV—the LG OLED55C8PUA—is one of the best TVs we tested this year. A similar model—the LG OLED55C8AUA—is part of Black Friday sales at both BJ's and Costco, but this set is $100 to $150 less expensive. The best price we've seen for this set so far is at Abe's of Maine, which has it for less than $1,500.

Smaller Sets

Given their lower prices, you don't tend to save a lot on these models during any Black Friday sales event, but sometimes it's hard to resist a sub-$100 TV.

32-Inch Insignia 720p TV, $90
The low-priced Insignia NS-32D220NA18 is a basic model that nonetheless did fairly well in our ratings. If you're looking at this set, you could also check out the $100 32-inch Sharp at BJ's, and the even cheaper $80 32-inch Polaroid at Target. This set is available now as part of the early sale.

32-Inch Insignia 720p Fire TV Edition Smart TV, $130
Another Insignia Fire TV Edition set, this one wasn't identified by model number in the ad. We think it's the Insignia NS-32DF310NA19, which you can buy for about $10 more right now. We didn't test this set.

32-Inch TCL 1080p Roku Smart TV, $150
This model is the TCL 32S327, a 1080p Roku TV that we tested—it didn't do all that well in our ratings. It normally sells for about $170 to $180.

32-Inch Samsung Smart TV, $198
The Samsung UN32N5300FXZA, which did fairly well in our TV ratings, usually sells for about $280, so this represents a decent discount on a smaller set.

39-Inch Insignia 720p TV, $130
This model is the Insignia NS-39D310NA19. You can buy this set, a tested model that didn't do all that well, at this price right now.

43-Inch Toshiba 4K UHD Fire TV Edition Smart TV, $130
This is the Toshiba 43LF621U19, which normally sells for $320. That makes this among the steepest discounts we've seen on a percentage basis. But the set was among the poorer performers in our ratings when it came to UHD, or 4K, performance. HD picture quality was fine, though. This is an in-store-only deal.

43-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV, $278
This model, the Samsung UN43NU6900, is a popular Black Friday set. It will be $280 at both BJ’s and Target during their sales events. But you can get this price right now during Best Buy's lead-up sale.
