This iteration of the Silverado is considerably improved over the previous model. It has a fairly comfortable ride along with easy access and cargo loading. A rack-and-pinion setup improved steering feel and response. Interior quality was also improved and the payload rating is generous. We appreciate the selectable full-time 4WD and standard stability control (optional on non-crew-cab versions) on the 1500.
