When coming down a mountain the Duramax motor working with the Allison transmission allows me to set the trailer tow and cruise control to maintain a constant speed and not have to use the brakes. Thus when I do choose to use the brakes they are not heated up from riding the brake down the mountain, a tremendous safety feature."

Low mileage in town but averaging 21 MPG on the highway even with medium loads (without trailer)"
