Current Model
The F-350 is a much heavier truck compared to the popular F-150. The F-350 comes with a 1-ton capacity as opposed to the 1/2 ton of the F-150.
The Super Duty line has a ride that's stiff and bouncy, especially compared to the F-150. Powertrain choices include a 7.3-liter gasoline engine mated to a 10-speed automatic, as well as a 6.2-liter gas V8 and 6.7-liter V8 turbodiesel which get a six-speed automatic transmission. Stepping into the tall cabin is more difficult because of the high floor; we highly recommend step rails. Forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot warning are available.

The F-350 Super Duty is a heavy-duty truck for towing or hauling heavy loads. The ride is stiffer and snappier than in the F-150, but slightly better than some of its competitors.
Engines include a diesel V8, a gas V8. Stepping into the cabin is difficult because of the high floor. Integrated into the tailgate is an optional folding stepladder, which is a nice touch. Other conveniences include built-in wiring for accessories and built-in controls for proportional braking when towing a trailer. Handling is very clumsy even for a heavy-duty truck.
