CR's Take
The F-350 is a much heavier truck compared to the popular F-150. The F-350 comes with a 1-ton capacity as opposed to the 1/2 ton of the F-150. The Super Duty line has a ride that's stiff and bouncy, especially compared to the F-150. Powertrain choices include a 7.3-liter gasoline engine mated to a 10-speed automatic, as well as a 6.2-liter gas V8 and 6.7-liter V8 turbodiesel which get a six-speed automatic transmission. Stepping into the tall cabin is more difficult because of the high floor; we highly recommend step rails. Forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot warning are available.
