Anonymous, AZ (2004 Honda Accord EX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"In a 1 year old car, we can not complain about this issue. We had repairs done as this car is still happilly driven."

Anonymous, CA (2004 Honda Accord LX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"The temperature control system has had problems since I first purchased the car. The main vents would not work and I took the car into the dealership several times, while it was under the 7 year extended (paid extra for) warranty. They always said they found nothing wrong. It It still does work correctly and the problem is intermittent, so it difficult to know if it will work or not when I take it to the dealer service department"
Anonymous, CA (2004 Honda Accord LX 3.0-L V6)"The climate gates controlling airflow won't open and close properly. If the AC was on cold but the interior needs heat, it blows out cold air until I do the following in sequence: turn it on "Max Cold" then "Max Hot" then back to a temperature such as 72 degrees. The gates then allow heat to flow out of the floor vent as it should. Then I have to do the opposite to get it back to cool air blowing out the dash vents"

Anonymous, ON (2004 Honda Accord EX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"Electronic module failed so display went blank"
Peter A., WA (2004 Honda Accord EX 3.0-L V6)"Climate control won't change from heat to cold air without manually (or verbally) tricking it. For example, on a cold day, if cool air is blowing and temp control is set to warmer temp, you have to first set the temp to max cold and then max hot to get it to change to heat. It's the same problem in reverse. It's like a gate refuses to open or close automatically."

Anonymous, TX (2004 Honda Accord EX 2.4-L 4 Cyl)"I have taken this Accord to the dealer it was purchased for regular maintenance when needed, I understand the importance of regular maintenance. I have detailed records back to April 2011, although complete maintenance was performed from day one! This Accord has been a very reliable vehicle and only left me stranded for battery (several Interstate) and starter (2 or 3) failures. Living in west central Florida, I have recorded spending $4,016.00 on air conditioning since April 2011. By the way, I really enjoy reading your statistics about used cars and have been looking for a reliable replacement but, why replace a great car! Its going to be very difficult to fill these shoes. Thanks, Avid CR customer :)"
