CYBEX and Columbus Trading-Partners U.S., Inc, the U.S. distributor for CYBEX (collectively “CYBEX”) have
decided that a defect which relates to product safety exists in certain Sirona M car seats manufactured before
September 1, 2018, and sold in the US market. CYBEX is initiating a voluntary recall of these seats to inform you of the
issue and to advise you of the product improvement kit being made available to correct the issue.
Children can access the headrest foam through a small opening in the headrest cover set and can pick off small
pieces. These small foam pieces could be a choking hazard, so CYBEX initiated this voluntary recall. The seats meet all
requirements for crashworthiness under the Federal safety standard FMVSS 213 and can continue to be used to
transport your child safely, before and after you implement the product improvement kit.
