What Owners Say
"Please keep in mind my truck is 19 years old. In the about the last two years I noticed that the roof top and the hood became badly faded but I had the whole vehicle painted and it looks "like new." I would not put this problem in a "complaint or problem" category. My vehicle is parked outside in the elements in the hot Texas weather year-round, so its fading may be due more to "normal aging" of the paint. On the bright side, the fading paint did not rust through the body or even the primer so it was very inexpensive to resolve the issue. I am perfectly happy and satisfied with my 2001 King Ranch F150 and still going great at 189,000 miles. All of its original features are still functioning (AC/H, mirrors, seat warmers, lighting system, radio, etc.) and no major transmission, drive train or engine repairs. I have replaced the ball-joints and idler arm. The one feature that stopped working about 4-5 years ago was the brake pedal height adjuster. That was a useful feature for my wife but I don't miss it."

Yes, it's an old truck, but well-kept. The paint was never applied properly to begin with."
