    "Software and navigation updates failed. Multiple attempts to rectify the situation over several months resulted in dealership replacing the "Accessory Protocol Interface Module" (APIM). Covered under our extended warranty, which had a $500 deductible. This process took literally 5-6 months of on-again, off-again attempts at different fixes that didn't work that resulted in the faulty APIM diagnosis and replacement. My dealership and the Ford Customer Service IVT (In Vehicle Technology) Team were helpful, considerate, and committed to resolving my issue from the start to the end. I really can't say enough good things about their assistance with resolving my problem. Once the updated APIM was installed and programmed all of my system updates and navigation updates have installed flawlessly and continue to operate as new."
